Assignment 2 - Concept for Assignments 2 & 3...

My concept and idea behind my research for Assignments 2 & 3 is the idea of creating architecture that is intelligent and smart, yet has been produced by the building method of prefabrication. My thought is to take Le Crobusier’s concept of ‘a machine for living’ or something similar, and applying it to the process of prefabrication. With the aim of being able to prefabricate houses and units that are also smart machines that ‘interact’ with the occupants.

Hopefully I can create something really interesting and thoughtful, we’ll see how we go…
